The Physics department at the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, Liverpool, are hosting a virtual Medical Physics NHS Scientist Training Programme (STP) open day on Tuesday 12th December. This is a three year paid programme and part-time NHS funded MSc, training physics graduates to achieve registration as a Clinical Scientist. It will be held by trainees and staff in the department, and will provide prospective applicants with an insight into the STP training offered by CCC. Both current trainees and qualified Clinical Scientists will deliver presentations describing the application process, details of the training scheme, and the work of a professional medical physicist. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in a Q&A with trainees about their experiences.
