Mostyn McKenzie Footwear are looking to build on the success of their expanding podiatry service in Perth, Scotland by recruiting an additional podiatrist to work in conjunction with their current clinicians.
The existing caseload is primarily routine work, so a candidate with experience in MSK/biomechanics would be ideally placed to introduce these skills and specialise in this area. There is access to a FootBalance™ Foot Analysis and Custom Insole machine.
There would also be the potential to develop the nail surgery service, and domiciliary podiatry if desired.
The clinic currently runs 5 days a week with one Saturday clinic a month – but with a second clinic room vacant 5 days out of 6 there is plenty of scope for expansion and to help our business grow; we are flexible as to which day/s and hours are worked.
The successful candidate would be expected to work independently but with the administrative support of shop staff for bookings and payments. However, we are keen to develop a close professional relationship between the clinicians for the benefit of the business and clients.
We use the Cliniko system for appointments so a knowledge of this or similar electronic diary and record keeping systems would be an advantage.
