The RSA and the Creative PEC have been working in partnership with Arts Council England to explore the concept of Creative Corridors - joining up existing creative clusters to become more than the sum of their parts through better collaboration and coordination.
Please join us online where a policy framework for action will be launched, setting out the underlying case for creative corridors, exploring the opportunities and barriers for growth and laying out the practical actions stemming from this to realise place-based prosperity.
The event be held on 24th October from 3pm online on the RSA Youtube Channel live from The Lowry theatre in Salford.
There will be a presentation of the report content followed by discussion to give space for broader reflections on the key themes, which include bolstering creative skills and supporting the freelance community; improving access to finance for the creative industries; enabling creative R&D and innovation; and nurturing arts and culture across the country.
You will hear from the CEOs from Arts Council England, Creative PEC and the RSA, along with a fantastic panel including Shanaz Gulzar, Tom Adeyoola and Mayor Tracy Brabin.
Full agenda to follow.
