We are looking for someone exceptional to join us at Yarrow Cookery School as our first full-time team member. This is a varied, hands-on role at the heart of the business, working closely with us across the kitchen, guest experience and the day-to-day running of Yarrow.
About the role
No two days at Yarrow are ever the same. Food and drink sit at the heart of everything we do, and you will be involved in preparing, presenting and bringing each class to life alongside our guests. This role would suit someone with a genuine interest in food and drink who also enjoys being part of a growing business. You will support across events, guest experience and day to day operations, while also getting involved in marketing and communications.
We are looking for someone who takes real pride in the details, loves making people feel welcome, and is happy to get stuck in wherever needed. You will work closely with us across all aspects of Yarrow, helping things run smoothly day to day.
We will provide training and support to help you build confidence across the kitchen, front of house and the wider business, so you can learn quickly and develop a broad set of skills within a small, growing business. This is a full-time role and will include regular evening and weekend work, in line with our class schedule.

• Is interested in branding, storytelling and helping grow Yarrow across marketing channels
• Is proactive, practical and happy to get stuck in wherever needed
• Is comfortable working evenings and weekends
• Is not afraid of the less glamorous side of the job, including washing up and resetting the kitchen
What the role will involve:
• Preparing ingredients, creating dishes and maintaining a well-organised kitchen
• Looking after guests and helping create a warm, relaxed atmosphere
• Assisting with content, communication and marketing where relevant
• Helping us continuously improve and grow what we do
Salary & incentives
This is a full-time role with a starting salary of £26,000, depending on experience. There is also the opportunity to earn additional income through performance-based incentives.
